June 27, 2015 Omak to Whatcom Lake

Beautiful day for a road trip,  left Omak bright and early, amazing drive through Pateros, Twisp and Winthrop up through North Cascades National Park...Awesome scenery

Had a few big pulls....truck working overtime!!

Quick stop at the Diablo Lake Overlook to enjoy the amazing view....hadn't seen this area in over 20 years since we moved to Vernon.  Only thing different, no hungry chipmunks, they are all gone, not sure where they went?

On our way to enjoy a few days with the kids and grandkids at Whatcom Lake
