We were so excited to visit Bend, it is a really vibrant and active community, over 300 days of sunshine...so we were hoping for a piece of the action.
Toured around town, luckily we had "Roxanne" to guide us...there is not a straight street in the place. The town is mixed with old and new, but the new are made to look like the old, trendy, hip, cosmopolitan appeal...and dog friendly....love dog friendly places. Bend was named one of the nation's most romantic cities. Within a few minutes we knew we would be back again to really experience all this place has to offer.
We happened across the Bend Summer Festival downtown...
Finished off the day back in Prineville....with the goats!!!
