July 3, 2015 Grayland to Ocean Park, Washington

After enjoying coffee and breakfast and some great conversation with Samantha, we headed on our way. So glad to have the chance to have met her, both on different journeys, our paths probably never to cross again...us on a quick tour....Samantha on a much longer journey...

After a leisurely drive....70 miles or so, not bad for one day....we arrived in Ocean Park, which is a small beach town outside of Long Beach....which is a "tourist beach town"....crazy busy for the Fourth of July weekend.  Strange thing here.....there are so many access points to the beach...that you can drive on...not just drive and park...actually drive on...Nothing worse that pleasantly enjoying the sound of the surf..Gracie running in the water, chasing the waves...then CAR!!!!! CAR!!!...Only in American I say, only in America...

Took a little tour around...cute little beach town...

It's a real mixture of homes... vacation properties...RV lots....vacant lots...little homes...

 and what we can only expect to be "impressive mansions"....
